Meet the new Executive Director for the Puna Men’s Chorus!

Jessica Takayama is a born-and-raised Big Island girl, attending both Pahoa & Konawaena High Schools. She graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a B.A. in English Literature and Performing Arts.

Jessica is a lifelong performing arts enthusiast, with over 20 years dedicated to Drama, Dance, Music, and Technical Theatre. Last year, she and two partners started “Safety Pin Productions”, a Hilo-based performing arts production company, and ran two successful shows at the East Hawaii Cultural Center: “The Boardwalk Melody Hour Murders”, a dinner theatre, and “Show Off”, a vocal concert with singer Amy Yamasaki.
